Dennis Sonogan works within the realist parameters of
accurate observation and the representation of a subject as you see it.
Realism is, however, Sonogan's artistic point of departure,
and his paintings of local coastal scenes give us more than just a
rendering of reality, resulting recently in a ‘highly commended' award
in the 2006 Rotary Art Show.
